I stared to do DAILY SCANS to find what stocks gained 12% in single day with min 500k volume and min price of $3.I will then add those stocks in to a gainers list. Every 3 months I would see what stocks had more entries in that gainers list. I would then add stocks that had 3 or more entries in gainers list to a new list that I call STOCKS WITH BALLS LIST.By doing so I knew when these stocks that are in STOCKS WITH BALLS LIST will break out next time chance is they will GAIN BIG like in past min 12% in single day gainers. For example How many times IBM gained 12%+ in one day. May be 1 or two at max. But now check how many time VISG gained 12%+ times in 12 past months 11 times. So for me VISG is a stock a STOCK WITH THE BALLS that can gain very big when break out of trading range .I kept eye on volume gains /charts/and news to get ready for break out on just 200 very strong gainers STOCKS WITH BALLS list.10 or more of those will have volume rise and about to break out on any given day before open .This why I knew with ones to look out today for break outs.

And I was taking out all the stocks those ave volume fell under 500k or price fell under $3 and tried to limit the list to 200 or under. found out latter by doing so I had 90%+ stocks that gained 12% or more in ONE DAY were already in my stocks with balls list every day. Also noted what sector is hot or getting hot. And what stocks get hot first WHEN A SECTOR IS hot. EXAMPLE ^XBD hot meant AMTD will be leader .^BTK hot mean GENE ARIA NGEN will be Leading gains ^NWX hot mean JNPR will gain big too.^SOXX hot mean ^PMCS,VTSS,RMBS,BRCM will lead in gains.
Sotcks with balls from this list are only those that gain more the 3 time over 12% in last few months.Heck if they can do that in past why cant they do it again next time after they cool down a little.I wait for them to come back to earth and become next FAST BUY and SURE again to go long.Shorting these STOCKS WITH BALLS in day trades pays good but overnight is most of the times a back breaker.
