TO MY FELLOW LONGS & NEW INVESTORS


As stated before, my professional background has been in the field of counseling for nearly 30 years. From a technical analysis of EGHT`s recent progress...most of you would leave me in the dust. But by nature I am a creative & intuitive thinker & I want to share these "GUT FEELINGS" about EGHT`s IMMEDIATE future (ALL IMHO). Perhaps this different & optimistic perspective will yield some constructive feedback.

I have spoken w/virtually all of EGHT`s senior mgmt over the last 6 months,inc. Joe Parkinson. Simply put, JP came back to EGHT to hit a home run, PERIOD. It wasn`t about money (IMO,he doesn`t need it) but he loves the challenge & the GAME w/the street. March of 2000 & the last several years of fruitless partnerships, licensings & TEASINGS by the big boys brought us virtually no revenues & we teetered on the verge of bankruptcy. But,IMO, all that has changed now & there is a sense of vibrancy & re-birth at EGHT`s Santa Clara offices.

EGHT right now is all about executing its Packet 8 products. Anything else that materializes from the subs. is a bonus! To my fellow EGHT investors- JP,BM,& STAFF are hungrier than a bear after a winter`s hybernation. Ted, you talk about EGHT & their ability to handle large volume of customers. To this I respond that engineering support just completed significant software & automation upgrades to assure that those needs can be met. Just take a look at Packet 8 growth #`s (assuming okdk`s purchase order`s assumption`s are correct) in the last 3 months. IMO, growth will shortly become exponential !!!

Sadly, BR & JP couldn`t buy a break in the last several years...NOW,AGAIN IMHO,THEY ARE GOING TO CREATE THEIR OWN !!! And,IMO, Bryan & Joe are going to take this freight train on a long ride & show the big boys a thing or two. PAYBACK`S A BITCH !!!

Michael Robertson is a visionary & so is EGHT`s vision of endpoint to endpoint VOIP. How does the old saying go...if you build it they will come. Maybe we can turn it around somewhat & say...if EGHT build`s Packet 8 & installs it...the numbers will come !

I hear my fellow investors talking about exit strategies & subscriber growth & BIG BOY price cuts & I love it. And I guarantee to each & everyone of you that JP & BM love it,too !!! These guys can finally see the jugular in the BIG BOYS now and it`s poetic justice! You don`t get this opportunity often!!! LONG TERM WORST CASE SCENERIO-SELL EGHT TO A BIG BOY FOR A SIZEABLE GAIN,IMO,CERTAINLY 10+/SHARE !!!


Enjoy the train ride now because we just left the station. BM & JP are the co-conductors and, IMO, we`re in very capable hands. For a change, EGHT can & will control its own destiny! I think you`ll all be happy w/the ride. GO EGHT GO !!! I,for one, ain`t getting off this train ! Good luck to all !
