It was written by John Peterson. He IS an EXPERT in the large scale storage industry, having been a DIRECTOR at Axion Power. He now does research on the battery industry and has MANY research articles on technology and investment with batteries.

Here is just 1 OF MANY, sources of info quoting ZnBr batteries at $500-$600/kWh.

Here he lists the CURRENT cost at $500/kWh, and 10 year projected cost, based on his EXPERT analysis at $250/kWh.
