I heard the management sent a letter to employees last year that basically said if the company was sold, they would have written in the contract that the new owner would have to keep employees for a specified period of time. So, my guess is they are getting ride of people the new company, if sold, does not want to keep on as employees. I think they have cut way more than the 35% claimed in the earnings statement.
