The Obama administration has ZERO involvement with puny little YRCW - it has many, many bigger items on their agenda that have yet to be addressed. Nope this sad episode is drawing to a whimpering close.

Our banks do not keep ANYTHING alive - but they do trade the cash in their vault for title to tangible property (at rates in their favor).

This is basic collateral lending. The bank gives Zollars (or Wicks) a dollar for every $1.10+ in tangible assets that they sign over to the bank.

So, when the back yard, garage and all the closets are empty of collateral, the bank owns it all and stops giving any cash.

The last gasp of this activity just occured on Monday when the remaining collateral was swept up and poured into a bag for the bondholders. And the price? Well, 95% ownership of every remaining drop of collateral (not already held by the banks) in exchange for access to that last $105 million credit facility to run the business for about...oh....2 more months at current burn rates.

Love and loyalty are wonderful things when it is a two way street. But Zollars and Wicks are selling out EVERYONE except themselves and their cronies. If you still work for YRCW do a professional job each day, but use up EVERY single bit of benefit they owe you or be prepared to lose it all when the cash runs out and they have to close the doors.
