on the subject of the errant department, my thought would be to go to their boss, and if you can;t get it resolved that way, hire a lawyer and move the account, if necessary.

We want to be nice in dealings with people and institutions, but if something is truly wrong, then no more Ms. Nice Gal, that has always been my policy. Sometimes I have been called a hothead, but I refuse to put up with incompetence or wrongdoing when someone takes advantage.

There are always a few that will do whatever they can get away with, and when one encounters such ilk, it is our job to make it right, often at great stress to ourselves, because we want to be agreeable.

However, in this economy, I beleive that a lot of people are pushed to make budget, at the expense of customer service, or even at the expense of fair business practices. It is not reasonable to think that WB is totally exempt from a few of those types of departments or employees.

When we run across that, in whatever form, I do believe that it is up to reasonable people to make it right.
