The PST     11-Aug-09 08:30 pm
Time to separate the hourly from the commissioned employee. Would you rather see a 20% payout to the PST, or a realistic chance of hitting your sales goal and then a smaller contribution to the Plan? I for one would opt for the latter. Don’t get me wrong, a hefty payout, even in difficult times, says a lot about the character of this company. However is does seem that the rich are becoming richer. Math is not my favorite subject, but it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that 20% of your base (which is all some of us are likely to earn), doesn’t equal a much as a smaller contribution on top of a 100% commission payout. Oops I forgot. It’s month eight and we still don’t know what constitutes the yearly sales goal.
