How did the price stay so stable      8-Sep-09 11:00 pm
With all the commerical paper and agency debt that this fund appears to hold as part of its simulation of holding Yuan demoninated money markets, can anyone explain to me how the fund price (and even more so the NAV) stayed so stable over the past year? I am very skeptical of the holdings, but the proof seems to be in the pudding as it has been less volatile than short-term US gov't bond funds (such as BLV), let alone funds that held agency debt... what gives? Is it possible that the NAV has not really been marked to market? I would appreciate any help as I am not very familiar with the underlying holdings. Thanks in advance.
