As to your second question -- yes, dividends will only be distributed once per year. The expectation is that the NAV and price will gradually rise a percent a month (or so, assuming approx 11% effective yield) faster than the BRL/USD until the div is paid, at which point the NAV and price would drop back to the BRL/USD chart line.

So far, this has been roughly true -- BZF is steadily climbing away from the BRLUSD chart line.

Note, however, that an 11% payout would be more like $2.75/share than the "seven bucks" you reference.
