I'm surprised that some of the top Management at this Bank is still in place:

No one can deny that some of those aggressive acquisitions (at that time) did more harm then can be reaped for many years to come.

Also, you have the Fact that this Bank's Management totally missed all the obvious signs that the economy was cycling into a down-turn after many years of strength and was duped by these slick-Florida-Bankers, not to leave out going forward with the Parish National deal, after it was evident to even Whitney that capital would be needed, to weather this Economic-downturn.

So, has the current Management learned anything from those "Lesson"?

Would it benefit or hurt current shareholders if Management is booted?

I think having the Crew at the helm that run the Ship aground, and was also taking on water (hole in the ship repaired for now) with this same Crew navigating back to clear waters....IMO it's going to be "Show-me-Time"!

In short, it's the Devil you know, vs. the Devil you don't know, e.g. if you bring in New Management at this point.
