Re: TARP $      8-Mar-09 10:48 am
Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with rewarding success as long as success is rewarded fairly. My problem is with any company that beats on its employees to produce “because without your hard work none of this would be possible, oh and by the way we just screwed you again”. To suspend employee incentives and raises while cutting as many jobs as possible and then give yourselves these kinds of bonuses is pure hubris. I can here the CEO now, “Let tem eat cake.” And let’s not forget they took 75 million in taxpayer bailout money.

I have a few questions for those executives that got the bonuses:

How do you hit your goals when no one else does? Is your success not based on success of the company as a whole?

Do you expect any repercussion from regulatory agencies for taking taxpayer bailout money then irresponsibly giving yourself bonuses?

Do any of you have the least bit of conscience or a resemblance of a sole?

Since the stock price has tanked lately do you think it would be a good gesture to give the bonuses back as a show of faith in your company?

97% satisfaction my A$$.
