SGR is just fine. No real issues.

I use T as my overall US marketS indicator. It is always leading the overall marketS. It is in a slump and cant do anything but trade sideways on the low end of its recent long term range 24s - 25s. When T breaks one way or the other the markets will follow, later.

I say all that to frame this... SGR is a buy & hold. It is a WORLD, not just US, operation. Being in baton Rouge gives it a ton of advantages. it has had multiple opportunities to move and doesn't. Look at a 1 year rpice graph for the range.

All in all I say this positive run in the markets is not real. It is Wall St mafia sucking in lemmings. When Dallas, Tx turns around housing and job loss wise, then I say we are OK. Dallas is the best & safest economy in the country and they are hurting right now with NO turnaround being spoken about or seen. Even Six Flags has declared BK. Oh well.....

Good luck, you are smart to watch SGR. I am buying REITs as we speak. Run screens for large REITs that have dividends over 7% and are strong "cash wise". check out www.reit.com and surf the net for various REIT insights. AVOID any REITs failing to pay or cutting dividends!
