Its always amazing how everyone on this board blames Unions, even thou it has been proven that Unions raised living standards for all Americans. Also it amazes me that the workers do what Management decides. I just never hear any of the blame placed on the CEO's, or CFO's, or any of Management that make the decisions for the company.

It is the job of any Manager to protect the companies assets, but when it comes to Upper Management they are more interested in awarding themselves lavish pay packages. Its one thing to be paid well, and another thing to be paid in the 10s of millions of dollars. Why is OK for officers to paid this well, but a WMT associate starts at $ 8.00 an hour, which keeps them in the poverty level. Way to go WMT, and thats before the associate pays taxes and his benefits, simply amazing. Just think after 14 years they could even make $ 13.00 an hour, of course they rarely last that long, they usually only last 18 months before they wise up and leave the company.
