Outstanding posts, Verve. Outstanding. The GDP numbers are very revealing. This economy is in the tank and deep. Considering that the "stimulus spending" is simply printed money, bought and paid for ultimately on the backs of consumers, trillions, trillions of dollars diverted from productive use, we are in far deeper waters than I even thought we were. It may take decades to recover. The credit card example is a great one. I'm waiting to see what my employer has to tell me next year when I re-enroll in my insurance. It will be far more expensive and that swine Pelosi and the other bastards running Congress are just going to blame the increase on "greedy" insurance companies.

FWIW, I don't know whether or not to watch any of the floor debate this afternoon. The whole damn thing is so depressing...
