I don't think this is attractive, short term or long term. West Marine has trashed it's reputation with vendors, customers, and their own employees. The admission a year or so ago of improper financial accounting and reporting should make any investor wary. And, the boating industry is never coming back to the boom levels of several years ago, absent another consumer spending bubble.

So, why is this an attractive company?
