Access, maybe...reasonable rate...LOL! The only people who believe this is going to be done at a reasonable rate have no idea how the system truly functions - including Pelosi, Reid and Obama.

First, we are all going to be paying a lot more into the system via taxes...yes, the $1.25 Trillion plus, will come from our pockets. There are approximately $650 billion in other taxes on top of this - oops, the term we are suppose to use is 'fees'. Then, if you aren't going to be subsidized, you will be paying a premiums for your coverage. So once you add it all up, do you really think you're going to be saving a dime?

No you won't - why? Let's talk about the best part - there's nothing in any of the bills that actually address the cost of care. This is the part all of you who support this faux health care reform fail to understand. With medical inflation in double digits, the underlying cost of care can and most likely will eclipse the "projected" cost of the program before it actually goes into effect! Do you know an understand what the underlying cost of care is, what are the drivers of these costs, etc.? Doubtful - because none of you seem to address them, just as Obama and Pelosi ignore them. Geez...'stupid is, as stupid does!'

There is definitely a place in the reform package for insurance reforms such as the elimination of pre-existing condition and even a reasonable test of executive compensation. But, anything that ignores COST OF CARE as these plans do are destine to fail and cost us dearly.

Your gloating is nothing more than ignorance of all the details and issues that drive the cost of care. As an Independent, I fully and completely support reform, but this is a joke. There is no ONE villain in this crisis and any solution that ignores the culpability of hospitals, doctors, lawyers, big Pharma, labs, radiology centers, etc. is a wast of time and the paper it's written on.
