I've already responded to a post just like this one before. You must not be on this Board regularly.

I didn't say Whole Foods management wasn't thinking about unions. I'm sure they are. I just said they probably don't think much about the Madison store. After all it is only 1 of a 140 to 150 stores.

How would you know how much Whole Foods is paying their union attorneys in Madison? And the pro-union attorneys? They work for free don't they for the good of the cause?

Let's see now, Whole Foods was ranked #32 on the list out of 279 applicants. That is top 11% in my books. Pretty good in my opinion. 6 years in a row too. Where are unionized supermarket companies Kroger, Albertsons, and Safeway on the list? Surely the unions have greatly improved these companies haven't they? They must be better places to work than Whole Foods is? How come they aren't there? If 279 companies applied to the list, then there is only a 36% chance of making the list and a 64% chance of not making the list. Did you take any math courses when you went to school?

Until Enron collapsed they were probably a good place to work. They paid their employees quite a bit of money. Regarding Wal-Mart: Wal-Mart was just named the most admired company in America (also by Fortune Magazine--that magazine which obviously hates "working people"). I probably admire Wal-Mart more than any other company in the world (except for maybe Whole Foods!). What a great, great company! Wal-Mart has single handedly driven down retail prices across America. They have improved the standard of living for millions and millions of American people. Also Wal-Mart is crushing the parasitical unions across America. I love Wal-Mart! Damn straight that they should be on this list. Sexual discrimination lawsuits? Sexual harrassment lawsuits? Racial discrimination lawsuits? What company doesn't have those? The Trial Lawyers (the richest professional class in the United States and the largest contributors to the Democratic Party--even bigger than labor unions which are #2) sue Wal-Mart. They sue Whole Foods Market. They sue every business which makes any money. They are probably even a bigger threat to our country than labor unions are (if that is possible?).

Why do I care about unions so much? Go back and read my posts. I've said it a dozen times. Why are you on this board? Why don't you confine your rants to your pro-union websites? This bulletin board is a financial bulletin board set up for the investors of Whole Foods. Why don't you stay on your own bulletin boards and leave this one in peace so we can talk about Whole Foods as an investment instead of arguing about unions?
