TAKING THE PULSE: As Australia's economic growth grinds to a halt, the nation's big banks are likely to say in coming weeks that they're seeing further increases in bad debt levels, wiping out profit growth. However, revenues across the sector are likely to be a bright spot as lenders cash in on lower competition and stronger pricing positions.
