Well the earnings report is out. I believe that they are being very optimistic. They show some improvements, but a lot of it was the loss of their employees that were laid off. Many of these people have 15 or more years in the business and they are now gone. Just so you all know, these people were not the ones who were slacking and knew nothing; they were the productive people in the company. They got caught up because the VP’s of the departments wouldn’t stand up to corporate. Some VP’s, like Locomotive’s, were such cowards to corporate that they laid off so many people, they are struggling to just manage what they have. They can not handle any more orders without it blowing up in their face. Corporate should evaluate the VP and GM positions and get rid of the bad ones starting in their own back yard.
Where are they going to be when they pick up in 2 years or more years and are missing the talent that really knew the business? Al will be gone, if he doesn’t renew his contract, and the rest of the company will be struggling. You just can’t get experiences rail people off the streets.
