I got out last month after a number of contacts in the industry told me the outlook for this business is not very encouraging.

You simply have to read the company earnings announcement for confirmation.

The three key measures are:

1.) Net Sales dropped from $485.4 million to $394.7 million!

2.) Operating Income dropped from $46.2 million to $7.4 million!

3.) Net Loss (before windfall of alternative fuel tax) of $18.1 million, compared to Net Income of $19.7 million!

Its time to take the rose colored glasses off and face reality.

The Obama administration has just been sent a loud message from the elections earlier this week that Americans are fed up with all the government give away programs.

The alternative fuel tax could cost the government up to $24 Billion, if left alone. Don't be surprised if we hear the White House announce they will push to eliminate this program, thereby SAVING $24 Billion that will be applied against the cost of the new Health Care plan that it is pushing for passage before the end of this year. Now how is that for slight of hand?
