I have two gas oriented exploration MLP's left-EVEP and VNR. I have long favored EVEP, but VNR continues to impress and my confidence in their ability to maintain current level distributions is growing. One of the worries is how distributions will fare if the forward strip does not allow hedging at the same levels as time goes forward. Yet, nicely priced acquisitions which increase volumes can make up for some of the revenue lost from higher priced hedges. So, I look for just that, not new drilling but new purchases. VNR seems to be making progress on that front. I hope more happen in the future. I think they will.

I think that successful E & P' MLP's that are gas oriented are going to need to show stability with lower gas prices. Those that can should be good to go for years.
