EDV is more volatile than other bond ETFs (also more profitable), but I don't recall the fund dropping $4 on a day with bonds seeming relatively stable overall. Does anyone know if the drop reflects a dividend distribution by Vanguard? The only thing thus far that I haven't liked about EDV is the rather small volume and big spread between bid and ask price (use limit orders for this one). Otherwise, it's up close to 20% on the year and should be good for more of same in 2009.
