The old saying was, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The system is broken. As long as it's profitable for business, the costs will keep escalating.

Now, at least Obama is trying to fix it. What is the republican solution? What is good for business is good for the USA?

I say - the ultimate solution is going to look different, because the medical industry will need to change.

This is why I like vrtx. These are seriously good meds that are cost cutting.

Just because the technology exists, does not mean we all should use it. MRI's are an example. Too often prescribed. Very expensive. On the other hand, liver replacement, Telaprevir, or - death?

Vertex is a bright spot for the medical industry. Good cost conscious solutions. I think vrtx is going to fit very nicely into whatever evolves in the future.
