He has asked for concessions from pharmacy, heavily taxed device makers, under pay doctors, a whole bevy of revenue raisers which still don't fully fund his mandate. You don't think he'll come back to renegotiate/ bootheel whatever he feels redistributes enough wealth? One thing for sure is he'll have to.

VRTX's time frame may be able to avoid the rules that will be enforced since they don't start until 2013, but there will be huge shortfalls and huge increases of costs to the taxpayer. Maybe hep C treatments remain fully priced maybe they don't but I'll bet under Obama they become rationed or price controlled. Remember in Europe and Canada more than one approved effective cancer treatment is not used because of cost. That's why their survival and cure rates are so much lower.

As stated in the article Obama has already gotten price shavings from pharma. He goes back on his deals. They made a deal with the devil. He is targeting all to pay for a few. It is another callous rape of the middle class by politicians. All we can hope is that we get watered down powers.
