One of the most sincere comments Kanode made during the conference call was about Berg.

He said something along the lines of, "Carl Berg assured me that he remains committed to Valence for the long term. If I weren't absolutely sure of Berg's commitment, I wouldn't have taken this job."

This was not scripted, and was a very heartfelt personal statement.

The bashers harp on the downside risk of VLNC, and use sensationalist terminology like "death spiral" to scare stockholders. They post automated company analyses that do not take into account or interpret the human elements of business - usually the most important parts. They focus on past earnings without realizing that the future of Li and the entire battery supply landscape will look nothing like the past.

I see VLNC with enormous upside potential. There are 4-5 known game changers that could drive stock price up 2-3-fold, if not more. And there are many potential deals we don't yet know about. The downside risk is limited by key patents, ongoing deals, recently announced new deals, and Berg's commitment.

VLNC is an excellent speculative stock, and especially attractive at current, rock-bottom prices.
