It shows the DOE fleet demo program in 2011 followed by full up fleet and commercialization production later (~2014) for PHEVs. Chrysler is the lead for all of Chrysler/Fiat in electrics.

The European market is ripe for small electric vehicles given their crowded streets, limited parking availability and high gas prices. I was in Portugal and found Lisbon had a very high number of Smart cars. Fiat should jump on EVs for Europe with their expertise in small cars. We rented a Renault Pegasus manual.
