Fact: Approximately 250,000 United Parcel Service Drivers, Sorters and loaders are represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters as well.

Fact: UPS Airlines Pilots are represented by the Independent Pilots Association.
Fact: The IPA has promised their support for the Teamsters.

Fact: A strike will cost UPS it'd stock holders and customers more in the first 2 weeks than it would take to agree to a 4 year contract with the IBT.
Fact: UPS has some of the best Industrial Engineers in the world.
Fact: UPS has some of the best Management talent in the world.
Guess: Maybe the best managment talent and the best IE people need to hook up figure out wich management group in the Airline is willing to screw up the whole works, for pennies in the grand scheme of things.
Fact: The IBT will take out over 250,000 workers to assure that the 1,300 or so without a contract.
Fact: UPS IE could do the math pretty quick on this and give a forcasted loss per day because of 1,300 workers, or better yet beccause of a hand full management at the Airline that have/are failing to manage their business unit.
