The House will ultimately get whatever it passes. Haven't you guys figured that out yet?

Say the Senate has trouble initially and after many months can only pass a version that has no Public Option.

Fine, then when they come to the joint committee the House will insist on a Public Option in the final version of the bill, and of course, Harry Reid will say ok.

Now they only need 51 votes in the Senate to get a watered down bill via reconciliation-- that that bill will still contain a Public Option.

So you see, it's a done deal if Nancy P. can get this passed tomorrow. I hope you understand this now -- in the end the Senate will mean diddly squat -- it'll just take many more months to ultimately get through the whole process.
