Two months after I requested my January options be exercised on UDR, Ameritrade reversed them and stole my $14,000 in profits. They cited an OCC memo, but since I requested the exercise, this memo shouldn't apply to me.

I have taken them to the Better Business Bureau and plan to take them to the SEC and court.

I have heard this has happened to others with TDAmeritrade.

I'm recommending to my clients and others that you not work with TDA. They also would not release the "quality assurance" phone recordings where I requested the exercise. They are not using them in the way they promised, so this is another grievance.

Since other brokers mislead investors by recording our voices under "quality assurance" pretenses and then consider them "proprietary" and use them only for risk management purposes, this could easily become a class action suit, so let me know if you have been subject to similar situations.
