I still believe that many California banks have a ton of downside risk. FRGB and UBFO have a high % of land and construction loans, some probably still on "interest reserves". The non performers are a multiple of capital and that usually will lead to failure
I have been right on a few others that have been closed, but perhaps you are right and several will turn around
I would sell if there is a short term squeeze and it runs up a bit
but I would not invest any $$ beyond those you are willing to gamble on
