Givin the Feds lotsa control over stuff like that is sorta like abusin yourself in the dark . . . feels great for a while in the midst of your dreams, but in the final analysis all ya done is screw yourself. I recall when the Democrat Congress took control over the Vietnam war from LBJ and his idea of following JFK's plan to have a free election and the troops home in the next year, and the fighting went on and kids kept dying.
