There isn't much long term short interest in TTES month to month, but I think day/swing traders will short and cover over smaller periods. Also what the market maker does is essentially shorting but it doesn't show in the statistics. Keep in mind because there is so little real volume for TTES (most of it is market maker in my opinion).

I think part of the reason stocks lose on earnings is the traders sell the news, especially if they expect soft quarters coming or underperformance for some reason.

TTES used to be predictable until lately following NOV prices a day later. However, the relationship is breaking with TTES being given a higher PE multiple now. Either TTES is overvalued or NOV is undervalued in my opinion now. I'm buying NOV at these levels.
