If you are boycotting Home Depot because of the God pin incident you are a moron and bringing more harm than good to our ideal of patriotism and our Christian belief. Let me explain it for my fellow idiot Christian friends. (And, I have to say, I'm really tired of having to apologize for my dumb Christian/conservative friends.) Here we go: Home Depot has a blanket policy prohibiting any kind of pins/buttons/accessories and such. This prevents people from wearing NAZI symbols, KKK arm bands, gang symbols, offensive jewelry, and buttons that say things like "Athiests know best!" Although disgusting, these items are protected under the Constitution in the same way that the God pin is protected. As anybody who has ever worked with a large and diverse group of individuals knows, it is necessary to make blanket policies like this to balance the liberties prescribed in the Bill of Rights with people's individual rights at your business. If you allow the God pin, but not the "atheist" pin, you will be sued. So, unless you are willing to accept "atheist" pins, NAZI pins and other such items at your local lumber retailer...please do us all a favor. SHUT YOUR STUPID MOUTH...and actually spend a few minutes thinking about how these rules are actually designed to protect and preserve what's best for us all.
