I believe it is a nearly universal understanding of Christians that we should be productive and just. We should do all in our power to be successful within this framework.
I assure you seeking Christians are not going to be slovenly, lazy and unjust and ask God to fix it for them. Far more likely would be the epiphany that these ways must change. Christianity is a faith of service.
Implicit in Victory’s post are these ideas. He started with all and then to his own situation. Notice he did not complain but rather once prepared, will ask for Devine help.
So the question is why do you feel entitled and compelled to snarky behavior towards fellow Americans when you clearly do not understand the basics? It certainly is not rational or scientific to assume all faith systems are the same without bothering to learn the most basic tenants of even one.

There are far worse things in the world than a few humble people making public prayer for Devine assistance for all. One would be the infectious and deadly idea that god does not exist therefore the ‘concept’ must be schooled out to for society to achieve the’ rational’ humanistic utopia. Despite the unsurpassed slaughter of human beings, the hep secular progressives keeping making the same tired old demands. Not just for themselves but all society, by force if necessary. Feeble attempts at public ridicule are certainly an attempt at force.

All expression of purpose beyond worldly stuff should be locked up with them in their homes. Not unlike walling families in their homes to stop the plague in the dark ages. Again human nature is constant so none of this is new. In fact it is very tire and worn as it began with time and man's nature.

Markets are perfect because if you get enough human minds together we become completely rational!?
Do not worry about staggering trade imbalances, willfully childish energy thought or social policy built on irrational mortgage lending. Looks like a modern replay of Babel to me. Both the collapse and now the government imposed ‘cure’. The real cause remains, human arrogance.
Even those whom still insist on MPT will acknowledge there is little of nothing an investor can do to address systemic risk the arrogance of the powerful creates. So at this point, I join Victory in praying for some Devine help for us all. Our leaders need wisdom and the strength of character to follow a mature pragmatic course for us. Amen.
