HAIN and other health food companies commonly have big swings up or down before earnings...since this stock has sold off since last quarter to close the gap created by last quarter's stellar earnings report...its no surprise that ahead of earnings it would be up $1...that's not enough to waste the SEC time on an investigation. There are Jr Madoff's and all types of fraud and leakeys out just waiting...what about that huge option straddle on Black and Decker 20 minutes before the buy out was announced???? Now that might garner an SEC investigation except they ONLY made $320K - is that enough for an investigation...you tell me as I don't know what it costs per dollar collected to investigate.
