TXP Names Terry Orosco, Formerly With Ascend Communications, Cisco and Sun Microsystems, as Executive VP of Global Sales and Business Development

RICHARDSON, TX--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 2, 2009 -- TXP Corporation (OTC BB:TXPO.OB - News), an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) for the telecommunications industry, today announced the appointment of Terry Orosco as Executive VP of Global Sales and Business Development.

Terry brings 25 years of sales management and business development leadership to TXP, and this will be especially valuable to our growth as the leading independent supplier of fiber Optical Network Terminals (ONTs) used in fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) applications.

Prior to joining TXP, Mr. Orosco served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development at NetSocket Corporation, where he developed channel partner relationships and established a global sales presence for the company. Previously, Terry served as the Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Aktino and AudioCodes/Netrake. He has also held senior sales positions at ECI Telecom, Verilink, Ascend Communications, Cisco Systems, and Sun Microsystems. Terry is a U.S. Air Force veteran and holds a BSEE from the University of Texas and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University.
