Ive written about this rogue nation before, and its potential impact on the Global oil market, but I find that it is necessary to continue to watch it closely, which is a real shame, that we as Americans, in a land far, far away across vast oceans, have to be concerned with what a few camel jockey morons do or dont do, as their activity could impact our source of oil, and economic prosperity. The US uses over 20Mbo/d, and imports over 12Mbo/d, or 60+%, so its really our own fault.
Basically, IRAN wants nuclear weapons, with support from Maboob and the Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, and thru beliefs of extreme religious fanaticisms, wants to possibly rid themselves of Israel once and for all, and they have continued to rankle efforts by United Nations to stop the enrichment of U-235. There has been several levels of Sanctions, against IRAN, made in a diplomatic effort to stop them from enriching Uranium, to no great success. They claim they need this enriched U for the purposes of building Nuclear power plants for Electricity generation, despite the fact that their country has enough oil and gas to run power plants for a thousand years. The problem with enrichment of U-235, is that there is a fine line between LLE, or Low Level Enrichment, and HLE, or High Level enrichment, as only about 6% enrichment is needed for power production, and over that is weapons grade, and without constant and continuous monitoring by UAEA, which they will not allow, it is not possible to determine the level of enrichment they are completing. They have even been offered free enriched U-235, skilled labor and materials to build needed power plants so they can have this Nuclear powered electricity, but they have turned all help down, as they want to enrich the U themselves, under the guise of making only LLE. One of their top production sites, Nantaz, is the source using thousands of cascading centrifuges using UF-6 spinning at high speed, and is built underground, using multiple layers of steel reinforced concrete, in an attempt both of concealment, and bomb attack.
