That is bothersome that more weren't outraged by his lack if knowledge and inability to answer basic questions.

Now consider as I would as an administrator:
- TOMO HD has (reference ASTRO, Mr. Ploc) 15 or so (don't shoot me for exact number) more "gadgets" in the machine to make it perform static delivery(more stuff = more breaks)
- They have HUGE service issues - admittedly better than when they first came out but still a problem
- They CUT their service force, not added to it
- Varian machine and others can do great static delivery PLUS other treatments for A LOT less
-Other machines have a longer life, less fixes and companies have better response
- why would I take yet another chance on an unproven design that, if it breaks, and is in a single vault potentially cripple my site for one to three days (average fix time fot TOMO)???
- are the patient plans better? They might be as good but maybe look underneath TOMO's hood----with the platform as it is, and the dose calc as it is, there has to be an optimization or other IMRT calculation disguised ---what then of billing???
- these questions need to be asked
