Citi met with management of VAR, ARAY, TOMO at ASTRO, commented on the unexpected positive outcome re: reimbursement. Had this to say about TOMO prospects:

"TomoTherapy (TOMO) – New TomoHD should help TOMO break into the single vault market which makes up about 50% of the US. TomoHD is directed at the “premium” segment with Hi_Art fociused on the "value" segment. The TOMO HD offering makes sense, but market adoption may be slow where Varian has a strong/established market presence".

Bothers me that they may have been speaking with Fred, having listened to him fumble his way through the only earnings call I've listened to (Q3). Hoping he's been distracted by negotiating terms of an acquisition which could explain that performance. Very wishful thinking.
