On Thursday, there was a contract announcement between STP and EnXco for 2010 US and Canadian market. This manifest -

1) US market is gradually unthawning.

2) Very surprisingly, FSLR's strong relationship w/ Enxco's parent EDF (near 200MW contract going on now) didn't bring them this contract. And the winner isn't one of the most formidable competitor to FSLR. Aknowledgably, lately STP's US market share did surge a rank (something from #4 to #3). STP does have a few improvement such as processing cost improved to 60c. The major problem with STP is that "E" part of P/E was never a obvious proclaim.

Disclaimer: Unlike other resident analysts here, I am different in two aspect:

1) I am not a permanent solar bull. (Shall I say - I am not biased?)
2) My action was mostly through a) analyst reports b) my own digestion. Analysts reports contain lots of usuful data that you can't naively expect your internet search can subsitute them, such as Barclays' analysis on China regional IRR under Fit 1.15 RMB, that was almost a killer to hype or confidence boost for China market. It willl be profitless growth there.

When credit market really improves (we have waited for more than one year), solar installation might be back to life. Then I would think it easier to see TSL $100 than SOLF $15. (finally I wrote something some ppls like to see)
