This is the only regional I trade. I have traded BAC and C successfully though, using "strangles". Essentially, buying a one half position, on a dip on "news", selling an equal amount of puts (which could get me the same amount of shares at a lower price), then on a rise selling the calls. It is not a home run strategy but if one can do it each month, adds up to a very nice return annually, even if the stock does not advance. I only recently, the last two months adopted this stance with TCF. The earlier purchases at much lower prices were short term buy and holds since technically they were at major longer term suport (see my earlier posts). I will watch TCB from here but not convince now it is a buy yet at these levels. As you said they have "issues" to deal with. Thanks again for your posts.
