I'm no expert on AES strategy. The Pakistani power deal announced (you say Jan.) could be funded with the new Chinese proceeds in the near future. There is no need to mention anything about it until after they've got their funding lined up. Wow, China got a great deal, buying a big chunk of stock at 12 1/2 and the stock is now over 14.
Forget Warren Buffett, China is the new smart investor out there. They continue to buy equity interest in energy and resource companies around the world, trying to spend a billion here, two billion there, all the while getting rid of their depreciating US dollars. Good luck longs, and buy some gold !!! Sentiment : Buy Rating :
