Ok, we're now several days late on the planned earnings release and not one single word from the company --- leads one to believe something's materially affecting this release. My guess is they'd better release this week, late "pre-announce" something, or suffer the inevitable wrath of the street. What gives here anyhow? [Down volume today was not encouraging]

In light of the above, it's probably time to consider a full blown ouster of CEO and other non-performing executives. The CEO, in particular, is monumentally over-compensated given his failure to continue the bank's earlier earnings growth trajectory. We're in what many would consider the most favorable of possible earnings environments banks could hope for and yet this bank still suffers from decelerating earnings growth? This is, in a word, disgraceful.
