OK, so on one hand we have decent earnings/revs for the q (nothing to write home about, but good, considering all the grief out there).

On the other hand, we definitely have lousy same-store sales comparisons. Traffic is down, and people are spending less per meal. No surprise.

I say it's a toss-up. I don't think you're going to scare the longs or the shorts out. It's not a spec situation like a biotech nor is it a controversial "battleground" stock, so I don't think you can get a huge short squeeze off this report, and conversely, things are copasetic enough that I don't think anyone is going to dump bigtime.

I think it boils down to a macroeconomic catalyst - either things really do get better and people begin eating out much more frequently...reigniting growth, or we fall into a double dip recession, and cost-cutting just won't "cut it". In the meantime, I don't think this stock is moving much in either direction, kind of like the last few months.
