Correct me if I'm wrong but that would mean the company acqiring them is in due diligence and I think there is a freeze on the company and it's employees from buying/selling during due diligence. This freeze would pertain to "a new stock offering" as well.

The P2b results is certianly reason for someone to think about buying them but it's more likely that a major suitor would start accumulating stock now and express an intent to purchase later (maybe 90 days).
