I'm only going to reply to you once. You are new here and extremely naive. I am only responding so that no similarly ignorant fool might get caught up in your hype and make a similarly unresearched investment.

Pistiolis will not make you any money. He doesn't want to, he only wants to continue to receive his disproportionately high compensation for doing nothing good with this company. Somehow he has the board in his back pocket even though his holdings keep getting diluted. A couple years ago, a hedge fund bought (at a reverse split-adjusted $12 or so)and when Pisty continually ran this company into the ground while paying himself big bonuses and turning away multiple offers for the company, they tried to fight a proxy war and even started a lawsuit to try to stop the corruption and were thwarted at every turn.

You as a shareholder have no power with this company and any gains you may make will be fleeting. Trade it for profit like crak'd nuts, but don't be a fool and 'HOLD' as you so impressively typed with caps on (you really caught our attention with that one!)

If you go back far enough, you will see that the old company was called top tankers. Back then, he created an elaborate sale-lease-back arrangement [not really that unusual in itself for the industry] and then paid all shareholders (himself being the largest) a massive special dividend. Both the poorly constructed lease arrangement and damage to the balance sheet from the special dividend crippled the company, and he missed opportunity after opportunity to sell assets to cover their debt problems. Instead, he waited and was forced into multiple distressed asset sales well below prevailing market price on several suezmax tankers.

I've made and lost money trading this long and short. By now, I'm sure I'm still down a certain amount but it's relative peanuts, so this is not sour grapes. It is just one investor who has been around for a long, long time telling you not to look at little surface numbers like P/E or NAV and think you've got a handle on this very complicated situation.
