Looks like the proported 'stabilizing' of delinquencies and charge-offs was nothing more than a few-month breather. Charge-off rate of 14.5% among the worst of CC issuers. Even COF (while it still exists) has lower delinquency and charge-off rates.
Dropping sales and increasing write-offs = card division could turn into a drain on cash by the end of the year. Still weakly profitable for now, thanks to 25%+ finance charges and $30 late fees. http://yahoo.brand.edgar-online.com/disp... Rating :
