There is no reason why the UK door can’t be reopened at some stage in the future. Ultimately, there lies the gateway into Europe and beyond. It’s just a real shame as to what’s already been squandered with LRW’s attempt. Sadly though, that’s what happens when a golden prospect is entrusted into the hands of people that don’t really care and have no sense of direction in terms of having common sense, being streetwise and hiring the correct people, with the correct skills, to carry and drive the business forward.

There clearly are opportunities in the ‘white collar’ market and why not? However, as I’ve already said, the business model for ‘blue collar’, as it was in the UK, is completely right and there is no reason as to why it couldn’t be successful.

There’s nothing wrong with showing something different to the market in the UK, it just takes time. As long as the ingredients, namely the leadership, are right, it can and would work. As my good friend, therealrvp, quite rightly points out, just look at Adecco and Manpower as just two examples.

The market is there to be broke into in the UK and beyond, so if TBI is seeking substantial growth, as I’m sure it is, then the UK is certainly an option along with being a very hot prospect.
