My name is James West. I was talked into buying the Balckberry Tour 9930 by a zealous sales associate who worked at a Telus kiosk in the Pacific Center Mall in Vancouver Canada in July 2009. I was planning to travel the world quite broadly on business, and so was examinging the options to facilitate data, voice and email capability and access anywhere in the world. The Blackberry Tour was the phone for me, I was told, and Telus was the only network that could support it worldwide.

As I write this, I am sitting in my hotel room in Medellin, Colombia, where I am attending a conference. Confident in the knowledge that I could be reached easily, all of my plans and meetings and data exchanges were planned around the assumption that Blackberry and Telus would be up to the task.
