I think this earnings call set new records in several areas:
1. I think this call contained more "weasel words" than the two previous calls combined! I did not think that could be possible! My ears are still ringing from the number of times my weasel word detector was ringing at full volume!
2. A new high was achieved for the number of times that really poor numbers were framed in such a way as to make them sound like they were good. If you read the numbers quietly, and compare them to the last 2 quarters, they do not paint a pretty picture...
3. I think JP came across as someone who knows he wont have to put up with questions from young analysts that are smarter than him for much longer. He will be gone soon, retired and basking in a warm glow of self-aggrandizement. His condescending attitude and arrogance really shone through... the shareholders should have gotten rid of this guy a long time ago. He has not been good for the company and the shareholders. I loved it when he told the analysts to "figure it our yourselves"!
